As a young man I walked through the large hallowed halls of Cairo University and began my journey to becoming your family physical therapist. I studied and excelled for four years and was one of a few, hand chosen graduates given the opportunity to come to the United States and work towards my own American Dream. There I was, standing outside O’Hare International Airport, December 1992, with no jacket on and witnessing, the now familiar sight, of a snow covered city for the first time. My journey began with getting to know Chicago, and because I started in homecare, driving through the city was a huge part of my life. Steadily, I became familiarized with the place I now call home, being able to maneuver through it without directions or instructions, and compiling my own shortcuts and traffic stats. I built my life here, I got married in 1994 and had my first child in 1995. My work and my family were, and still remain, my greatest priorities. As I worked, I became more and more passionate about physical therapy, I witnessed every day how it improved the lives of my patients and healed them of their ailments. As my career progressed, I realized that I wasn’t done learning. I made it my mission to become educated by the best professionals in my field. I attended seminars and classes run by physical therapists from around the world, that were known for being the most proficient in their skills. Thus, my own skills expanded and I became an expert in treating pain, no matter the body part, injury, or condition, my band of knowledge has me ready for any challenge. My next step was to be able to run things my own way, so I partnered up with Omar Hussien and we started Progressive Physical Therapy in 2007, opening our first clinic in Hinsdale, Illinois. We worked together to spread the word on “what is normal”, how to live your life pain free, and in balance. After finding some success, we opened our second location in Arlington Heights, Illinois in 2009. Since then we have had THOUSANDS of patients treated for a multitude of issues. Now here we are! I hope you got to know a little bit about me through this bio, but come on in! I have so much more to tell you!
Bio coming soon…
